SPRING HAS ARRIVED, and now’s not the time to get caught at the flying field with a dead glow driver. Be prepared with Hangar 9’s Ni-Charge Quick Charger. This quick charger features a quick charge time of 20 min-utes for NiCd glow drivers, providing enough energy to get you flying when you’re stuck with a dead glow driver. After charging for 20 minutes at a 1 amp rate, the Ni-Charge will auto-matically switch to a trickle charge rate of 50mA and safely charge the NiCd battery to full capacity.
Small and compact, the Ni-Charge will fit easily into most field boxes or can be attached to the side of your field box for easy access. For power, the Ni-Charge comes with banana plugs, so you can quickly attach it to your power panel.
Operating the Ni-Charge couldn’t get any easier. A green LED lights when you connect the power input leads. Next, attach a NiCd glow driver onto the dummy glow plug recessed inside the Ni-Charge. Then, push the START button. A red LED illuminates during the quick charge cycle. Once completed, the red LED goes out, and your glow driver is ready for action.
Once you start quick charging your glow drivers using the Ni-Charge, you can say “Good-bye” to dead NiCds and “Hello” to flying.
