The 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso was the final model in the 250 GT series. Designed by Pininfarina and built as a high-performance road car, this car is characterized by flowing lines and a fastback shape typical of GT cars of the mid-1960s.
The car that combined high performance with great elegance had great success all over the world and in 2004 the Sports Car International placed the 250 GT Lusso tenth on a list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s.
The 1:18th scale model car extraordinarily replicates the version ordered in 1963 by actor Steve McQueen, a great motorcycle and supercar enthusiast. The particular colors of this model— rare, brown-chestnut, metallic paint with a light beige interior—make it a unique masterpiece. Reproduced by Hot Wheels EliteTM in a limited edition of no more than 5,000 pieces, it features opening doors, trunk and hood to reveal a fully detailed engine and interiors; working wheels; moving steering wheel; seat belts; real rubber tires and photo-etched parts.
