The 360 Spider is Ferrari's 20th road-going convertible. In terms of engineering, looks and performance it is the best production spider the Prancing Horse ever produced. It is also one of the most technological advanced convertibles in the brand's history. The model was regarded a classic even when launched in 2000. Designer Pininfarina's lines are regarded by many as timelessly beautiful, yet sportingly aggressive.
From 1972 to 1998, production of a targa-topped Ferrari had always run alongside a Berlinetta. However, thanks to its well progressed development, just twelve months after debuting the 360 Modena, a Spider was unveiled which made a targa variant unnecessary. The fully automatic roof enables the driver to press a button to have the roof appear or disappear in a mere 20 seconds.
The car debuted in March, 2000 at the Geneva Salon. Through the Scaglietti personalization program, clients can request unique color combinations with customized trimmings and paintwork. An extraordinary 1:18th model available both in red and light blue!
