The 360 Spider is Ferrari's 20th road-going convertible. It was launched at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show becoming the first Ferrari of the new millennium.
The new frame penned by Pininfarina broke ranks with the last decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights, replacing them with smooth lines and a rounded appearance. It carried a new V8 engine and an all-aluminum chassis that was 40% stiffer and 28% lighter than the previous F355. All these made the 360 Spider the best ever produced by the Prancing Horse in terms of engineering, looks and performance.
According to the Internet Movie Cars Database, the Ferrari 360 Spider has appeared in 51 movies, either as a part of the plot or in the background to embellish the scene. In the 2003 movie The Italian Job a Ferrari 360 Spider in grey was spotted in a scene in an auto shop where a worker was fixing its chassis. Don't miss this incredible 1:18th model!
