The Ferrari 512 S was a sports model that raced at the beginning of 1970s in the World Sports Car Championship season. Among the twenty-five 512 S, chassis number 1002 started life as a 512 S Spyder and was delivered to Spain to Escuderia Montjuich. In 1971, it finished 5th in the 1000 kilometers of Buenos Aires driven by JosÃ© Juncadella and Carlos Pairetti with racing number #20. It also raced several Championships by Escuderia Montjuic, among which the Tour de France was a big success. Juncadella finished 2nd overall and 1st in class in the 1000 kilometers of Paris.
